The Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, today, joined his colleagues to participate at an investment summit organized by the Nigerian Governors’ Forum in guangzhou China.
At the forum, the Governor is expected to enumerate some of the investment opportunities in the state to over 1000 top business leaders.
The Governor will also use the opportunity to further press on the campaign for made in Aba products as well as invite Chinese investors and business leaders to take full advantage of his government’s effort to attract Foreign Direct Investment.
Over 11 Governors have since arrived China for the summit.
Dr Ikpeazu is accompanied by few top government officials and business leaders from the state.
Recall that Dr. Ikpeazu made a strong case for Abia State in far away Cairo, where he presented a road map to be achieved in the power sector.
Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is also meeting with various investors to partner formidably with the state government to establish an enabling environment that will allow businesses flourish within the state.
Such meeting between the Governor, British high commissioner, Afreximbank, Chinese Business leaders and other private investors, remain some of the long list of recent engagements of the Governor to ensure that Abians enjoy dividends of democracy
