The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has affirmed its commitment to maintaining and strengthening its collaboration with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) to bolster the nation’s economy.
Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, the Registrar-General and CEO of CAC, expressed this commitment during a visit from Nonye Ayeni, the Executive Director and CEO of NEPC. Magaji highlighted the enduring cooperative relationship between CAC and sister agencies and emphasized CAC’s determination to further enhance this collaboration.
In response, Nonye Ayeni, the Executive Director and CEO of NEPC, requested the continued support and collaboration of CAC, aligning it with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda. Ayeni also proposed the establishment of a one-stop shop for company verification to improve their operations.
During the meeting, Ayeni provided insights into NEPC’s diverse range of services, including partnerships with both national and international stakeholders, the provision of market information, export training and seminars, connecting Nigerian exporters with potential buyers, advisory and coaching services, and the administration of export incentives, among others.
