The bank has introduced groundbreaking financial products and services, such as LEO, UBA’s AI-powered chatbot, and the first Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in Nigeria. These innovations have not only met the evolving needs of customers but have also left a lasting impact on the financial landscape.

Rewarding Loyalty: The UBA Legacy Promo

In line with its tradition of giving back to the community, UBA has launched a special edition of the UBA Legacy Promo to commemorate its 75th anniversary. The bank has set aside over N200 million to reward loyal customers across Nigeria. This promo, which runs from July to December 2024, covers all 36 states of the federation and offers a range of exciting prizes.

The promo is open to various categories of customers, including bumper account holders, savings account holders, Kiddies and Teens account holders, and NextGen account holders. A total of 75 customers will each win the star prize of N1 million, while another 75 customers will win N250,000 each, and yet another 75 will take home N100,000 each. Additionally, 75 Kiddies and Teens will receive N200,000 in scholarship rewards, and NextGen account holders will be eligible for N180,000 in pocket money. Monthly cash prizes of N10,000 and other consolation prizes, such as shopping vouchers and loaded pre-paid cards, are also up for grabs.

Driving a Culture of Savings Amid Economic Challenges

Speaking on the significance of the promo, UBA’s Group Head, Retail and Digital Banking, Shamsideen Fashola, expressed the bank’s commitment to encouraging a savings culture, particularly during challenging economic times. With inflation at 34.19% and impacting the income of the average Nigerian, UBA sees this promo as an opportunity to support its customers while also celebrating their loyalty.

How to Participate

To qualify for the UBA Legacy Promo, bumper account holders need to maintain a minimum balance of N5,000, with every additional N5,000 increasing their chances of winning. Savings account holders are required to save a minimum of N100,000, with multiples of N100,000 enhancing their odds. Kiddies and Teens account holders can participate by setting up a standing instruction of N10,000 monthly, while NextGen account holders need to maintain a minimum balance of N5,000 and obtain a debit card to qualify for the pocket money reward.
